If I Loved Like I Should
I found Lisa Pius's ariticle, "If I Loved Like I Should," extremely heart-rending and lovely (no pun intended). While reading through the article, the author had transitioned one effortless story into a commemorative message and advice that the world needs. When I was younger, I had always loved one person over the other in what the author calls "selective love". However, I find that when you accept everyone in your community or the world perhaps, a feeling of wholesomeness and satisfaction fills your heart. As the Bible states in Romans 13:8, “Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law" and, it also states in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud". Thank you, Lisa, for teaching this wonderful advice for your readers.
