¨I feel like a lot of my life I've been stressing out about everything that happens around me, or what's the next goal I need to achieve-always trying to hustle. The older I'm getting, the more I'm realizing I don't want to do that, I just want to kinda slow down and take it one step at a time and enjoy my time. Think my current goal is to be mentally at peace with myself and what I am doing in life, and just to be happy, and satisfied. One thing I'd change is, I'd learn to play an instrument. I wish I had done it when I was younger. It was something I always wanted to do and I didn't take it seriously enough, and now that I am older, I wish I had done it when I was younger. I honestly don't remember who my role model was growing up. If I think of my role model now, I'd say it's Nana. Feel like he had a lot of wisdom to pass along to me which I, may have taken for granted when he was passing it on to me but looking back, he knew what he was talking about. I miss the time I spent with Nana, my grandfather. He'd make me do fun stuff when we went out on our morning walks, so I could relive that…I'd relive that again.¨  (Brooklawn Middle School)
