Dive into the pain
Just avoid sinful relief at all costs
Live my nightmares everyday
Just because my heart is beating
Doesn't mean I live at all
Just because I smile at you
Doesn't mean I'm not terrified
The fire in your eyes
Taunts me as it offers me
False promises, serenity
It promises me peace and healing
But I continue to drown in my fear
My fear of you lies is what kills me
All the things you offer that you cannot give
Your fire cannot make me live
