The words I’m looking for,
I cannot find,
Perhaps they’re hiding,
Or I’m too scared to say them.
This life meant nothing to me,
Nothing, that is,
Until you came into it,
And made everything good.
You vanquished all my fears,
Wiped away all my tears,
You were and are,
My best friend.
You’ve always been there for me,
I never want to lose you,
You’re the best thing to happen to me,
You are my dream come true.
I’ve found those words,
I can speak them out loud,
Scream them to the world,
“I love you.”
