I'm so tired of pretending
I cant play this doll house game anymore
what's the good of living
if you have nothing to live for?
as your eyes meet mine,
I know you must see
but you dont see
Im so tired of pretending
I hate living a lie, this lie
double life
triple life
quadruple life
even more then ever before
crashing reality refuses to settle in
leaving me with less than nothing
without reality, eyes are useless
I cant really see truth at all,
no matter how hard I try.
because im so swarmed with lies.
every second of every syllable that leaves my lips
draws me farther from who I want to be
and how I want to see
I'm beating myself, and Im not winning
im so tired of pretending
I cant play this doll house game anymore
whats the good of living
if you have nothing to live for?

I like how you wrote this, reminds me of Melanie Martinez’s song called “Dollhouse”. Same meaning, love it!

Truth be told, many of us reach this point of insanity at some point where it feels we are drowning in our personal problems and life seems so distasteful and we can't imagine moving past this so we don't imagine life for us at all because all we would see is the endless web of pain we've caught ourselves in. I.. am a survivor of this point, the battle isn't over yet and I see and endless expanse of pain in my future, but I will survive past those points again and again because I'm prepared and willing to accept it for the chances of living the life I want as the person I WANT TO BE and already am. Keep pushing forward you'll make it out of the web of lies you made eventually, and when you step out and take that breath of fresh air, you'll be glad you are who you are.
