I Still Remember
I Still Remember
I still remember yelling at the shut door as I tried to beat down the unbeatable pain your face gave me.
The none existent evil that brought me to the verge of tears.
I still remember your smiling face that burns in my memory.
The way you told me “you are the one”,
That is all,
In some words… bull s*&%.
I still remember the way you looked at me with the sparkle in your eyes.
The way our eyes would meet for a second but last a lifetime in my memory.
That is all now, a dreadful memory.
I still remember the way my name ran threw your lips clearly and smoothly.
A sound that now sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
I still remember the way you said “I love you”.
And the part that makes this the hardest is that…
“I loved you too”.
