My teacher
My teacher's smile I'll miss,
The hugs and wisdom she gives.
On a new journey she leaves.
I will never forgot those times I've laughed in class,
The times she has helped me to become a better writer,
And the times we spent talking about animals.
Or the time she visited me,
My foster puppies ready for a new home,
As we talked and looked down on the puppies playing and romping with joy.
My teacher I will miss,
As she leaves to go teach at another school,
All the times we've shared smiling and laughing,
We will never forget.
