Monsters Beneath My Bed
Last night I saw the first monster. I heard something rustling in my closet and I was curious. I got up, walked over, opened my closet and screamed! It crawled beneath my feet and under my bed. I called for my dad and grabbed a flashlight.
Monsters were beneath my bed
Furry and blue
They crawled under my head
I had no clue
Monsters were all around
Long snout and claws
They just waited to be found
I wanted to pause
Monsters were behind me
Razor sharp teeth
They wanted me to flee
I called Mrs. Meath
Mrs. Meath, my stepmom, came and the monster disappeared out the window. It was gone before our eyes and I thought that would be the last of it.
Last night I saw the second monster. It was nothing like the first. I heard it walking down the hall. It dragged his scaly tail. I hid under my blanket as it came in my room. It went to my window and sat in the moonlight. I called for my mom again.
Monsters were by my curtains
Scaly and red
They knew I was there and they were certain
I wish I was safe in my bed
Monsters were in the moonlight
Creepy green eyes
They wanted to give a me fright
I didn't want to realize
Monsters were in the doorway
Long scratching nails
They wanted me to go away
I heard screams and wails
Last night I saw the third monster. It was nothing like the others. I heard him crawling on the ceiling. It was sweaty and gross. I ran into my dad’s room and asked for help to get these monsters away.
Monsters were above me
Slimy and green
They wanted me to leave them be
I wasn't too keen
Monsters were near us
Wandering feet
They wanted us to hop on a bus
I would not be beat
Monsters were beyond our house
Scaring the others
They wanted them to be scared like a mouse
I was glad they were done by my covers
Want to know how I got rid of them? I said "Hey! Go away!" And they simply left. If you have monsters, don't be scared. They are friendly and do as you say.
