Signs of Autumn
Out there on my plot,
Not here by my cot,
Where the rabbits and coyotes play.
Out there is a hole
By the side of a troll,
Where the beetles come out to dance.
The trees have carotenoids,
And the zombies are droids,
Out there on the big wild ol’ plot.
We went there today,
Did a jackrabbit play?
Yes it did, I saw it today.
The chloroplasts squirted ink,
Some bugs took a drink
And the ants went into hibernation.
The insects away,
Oryctolagus cuniculus comes out to play
But he gaffs and just gets lost.
The End
