Quiet eyes,
And quiet lies.
But here I am,
Afraid to cry.
I've tried everything,
To make them see me.
Then the voice inside my head says,
Run and hide.
And I can't do this anymore.
All the light faded from me that night,
I'm scared of my reflection-
I can't breathe right.
My voice is silenced forever,
The truth can set you free-
Just speak.
This is my story,
Right here, right now.
Read between the lines my friends,
Read my cries for help.
This isn't safe,
This isn't me.
I hold a mask to my face,
Welcome to my escape.
All the light faded from me that night,
I'm scared of my reflection-
I can't breathe right.
My voice is silenced forever,
The truth will set you free-
Just speak.
No time for hiding,
There's no time for holding back.
This is my chance-
To live and to breathe,
Finally be happy.
My nightmares locked away,
From the cruel reality.
It's time to show the world,
Exactly who I'm suppose to be.
Let's shed some light and let go of that night,
Embrace my reflection-
And learn to breathe right.
His voice is silenced forever.
The truth has set me free-
Just speak.
