making you notice, isnt a problem

to take control, thats where you stop me

i just want to stand on my own

but you keep preventing me from moving

i learned to stand on my own

molding me into my own shape

im not going to hold back no more

cuz baby there's, a, man, inside of me.....

The author's comments:
this was inspired by a friend of mine to just show that she can stand on her own without someone by her side, also i wrote this piece hoping that someone, just one person will find strength to stand on their own without having to depend on another person.... i mean everyone deserves a chance at independence...... right?
