He gently pulls me into his arms
I gasp,
I start sobbing
An overwhelming emotion I just can’t hold,
Tears running down my face
What’s this…………….
This comforting embrace.
I feel his breath against the
Side of my neck
Slipping through the strands of my hair.
He whispers in my ear
“Please don’t cry”
I cry even louder,
Holding tighter to his embrace
“Please” he begs.
Gently his strokes my
Back, my head,
This comforting embrace
Holding me like this forever.
