It only lasts a single moment
The taste like honey but slowly turned sour
The heat was an indescribable passion burning through my porcelain veins
My strength continues to grow weaker with every breath
I want to stop the pain but the pleasure overwhelms me
My mother always told me I
had a hidden kiss
It was meant for my true love
But someone robbed me of that
pleasure
My hidden kiss will forever be his and no longer mine to have

this poem came from a series of books I read called The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Claire, this one is dedicated to Clary and Jace from her stories
